How JABIL Recommends a Tire Protection Chain

Tell us your tire size, machine model and working conditions. JABIL will help you identify a suitable tire protection chain configuration.

Selection process

Four steps from enquiry to quotation

The process starts with basic information and moves to a review of the actual tire and machine fit. It is not an automatic model match.

01

Tyre Information

Start with the full tire size marking. Brand, tread pattern and measured dimensions help refine the review when available.

02

Machine & Wheel Position

Share the machine make and model, the wheel position and any known restrictions around the tire.

03

Working Conditions

Describe the ground material, operating environment and how the equipment is used.

04

Fit Review & Quotation

JABIL reviews the information, requests any missing measurements and quotes a configuration after technical confirmation.

What to send

Start with the essentials

Your first enquiry should include the full tire size, machine make and model, working environment, required quantity and destination country.

Useful details to add later

  • Tire brand, tread pattern, measured outside diameter and width
  • Wheel position and clearance to the fender, frame and nearby parts
  • Clear photographs of the tire, machine and working site

JABIL may request these details before confirming the final configuration and fit.

Tire size reference

A size marking is the starting point

These tire size markings appear in the product catalogue as an enquiry reference. They do not identify a fixed chain model or confirm fit or availability. Actual tire dimensions, rim, machine clearance and working conditions still need review.

Applications we serve

Heavy-duty working environments

JABIL supports enquiries across these application areas. The site conditions inform a review; they do not determine a chain structure on their own.

Open-Pit Mining

Equipment working on exposed mine roads and rock surfaces.

Underground Mining

Equipment operating in confined underground work areas.

Quarrying

Loaders and other heavy equipment working around quarried material.

Steel & Slag Handling

Equipment used around abrasive material and demanding industrial sites.

Selection question

Is tire size enough?

No. Two tires with the same size marking may have different measured dimensions or tread profiles. Wheel position, machine geometry, available clearance and site conditions also affect the fit review.

Ready to discuss your application?

Send your tire and machine details. JABIL will review the information with you.
