Production and inspection
JABIL supplies tire protection chains through established production resources. We review the manufacturing requirements and inspection points for each order, from material identification through final packing.
Material traceability
Material selection, component use and traceability requirements are confirmed for each order; no single grade is implied for every chain.

Typical manufacturing route
The six stages below describe a typical route shown in the product catalogue. Actual operations, heat treatment and checks depend on the confirmed chain and order.
Material identity and cutting requirements are set for the order.
Wear components are heated, forged and trimmed.
Rings and wear components are assembled; required joints are welded.
Heat treatment is applied where specified for the order.
Components are cleaned and finished as specified for the order.
The finished chain and packing are reviewed against agreed requirements.

Quality control
The inspection plan can cover batch identity, key dimensions, welded joints, heat-treatment records and the finished assembly. JABIL confirms the required checks and documents for the order before supply.
Specific test results and records are supplied only when included in the agreed inspection requirements.
Packing and delivery
The packing method, labels, quantity and shipment records are checked against the confirmed order. Crates and steel cages are examples in the catalogue; the method used for a shipment is agreed before dispatch.

Tell JABIL about the tire, machine and documentation your order requires.
